David Rubin, CEO
Mr. Rubin is the CEO of ProfitFuel, responsible for its overall vision, strategy, and business development. Prior to ProfitFuel, Mr. Rubin was founder and CEO of HomeCity, an online real estate broker that pioneered utilizing web-based content to acquire customers. Before founding HomeCity, Mr. Rubin served as Vice President of New Services Development at Intraware, where he led the development of new eMarketplace services for their more than 5000 enterprise customers. Prior to its acquisition by Intraware, as founder and CEO of BITSource, Mr. Rubin pioneered the electronic delivery of software volume licensing and was named one of the "50 smartest people in the computer reseller channel" by SmartReseller magazine. Previously, Mr. Rubin served as the National Sales Director for a Houston-based reseller, Computize, and transformed the company from a regional retailer to one of the nation's 50 largest corporate computer resellers.

Jared Slosberg, President
Mr. Slosberg is the President of ProfitFuel, responsible for its day-to-day operations. Prior to ProfitFuel, Mr. Slosberg was Vice President of HomeCity, where he ran the company's ongoing operations and managed the company's financials. Prior to joining HomeCity, Mr. Slosberg served as Vice President of Business Development for FindLaw, the largest legal-related portal on the Web. While at FindLaw, Mr. Slosberg was responsible for the company's largest acquisition, responsible for approximately 30% of the company's revenue, and oversaw deals with the largest online media players, such as CNN, The New York Times, WashingtonPost.com, USA Today, and many others. Mr. Slosberg was a Founding Director of Round Zero, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young technology entrepreneurs. Mr. Slosberg graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. from Brandeis University and holds a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley - Boalt Hall.

Timothy Alvarez, Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations
Mr. Alvarez is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations for ProfitFuel, responsible for all sales, sales operations, and client services. Prior to ProfitFuel, Mr. Alvarez served as a consultant to call center operations across the world, culminating in an assignment as Vice President of Mortgage Sales for IndyMac Bank. Previously, Mr. Alvarez spent 16 years with MCI Telecommunications where he was promoted repeatedly and eventually named Austin Center Director, responsible for over 800 sales agents and management staff. During Mr. Alvarez's tenure at MCI, he was awarded the prestigious Circle of Excellence award 10 times in 13 years.

Jerry Franklin, Vice President of Inside Sales
Mr. Franklin is the Vice President of Inside Sales for ProfitFuel, responsible for managing and coaching all of ProfitFuel's salespeople. Prior to ProfitFuel, Mr. Franklin was the Manager of Outbound Sales for Harte-Hanks, where he ran the sales operations for the largest outbound teleservices center in Austin. Mr. Franklin was responsible for 300 agents and ran lead generation, telesales, and other campaigns for AOL, 3Com, the U.S. Postal Service, and many others. Mr. Franklin is well-known for his ability to lead by example, having personally managed almost every facet of extensive sales campaigns.

Ryan Pitylak, Vice President of Marketing
Mr. Pitylak is the Vice President of Marketing for ProfitFuel, responsible for all online marketing, product management, and marketing communications. Prior to ProfitFuel, Mr. Pitylak was President of Excellent Suggestion, a demand generation consulting company. Excellent Suggestion has consulted for some of the most successful consumer-based online businesses in Austin, such as HomeAway.com, the world's largest online vacation rental directory. Mr. Pitylak is also the founder a direct marketing company that grew to over $5MM in annual revenue, as well as UnlockAustin.com, a live music recommendation website. Mr. Pitylak graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in Philosophy and Economics (Honors).

Melissa Rubin, R.Ph., Director of Human Resources
Ms. Rubin is the Director of Human Resources for ProfitFuel, responsible for the design, implementation, management, and analysis of a wide variety of Human Resources endeavors, including recruiting, retention, performance management, and company policies. Prior to ProfitFuel, Ms. Rubin was the Director of Technical Operations at HomeCity, where she designed and managed backend processes that coordinated efforts from Software Engineers, Photographers, GIS Engineers, and QA personnel. Before HomeCity, Ms. Rubin, a registered pharmacist, directed, managed, and reported to the FDA on multi-million dollar international clinical trials for Collagen Aesthetics in Palo Alto, CA and managed critical patient care as a medical team member at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX. Ms. Rubin holds a B.S. in Pharmacy and graduated Summa Cum Laude (Rho Chi) from UT Austin Pharmacy Program and Doctor of Pharmacy program at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.

David Lyon, Director of Client Services
Mr. Lyon is the Director of Client Services for ProfitFuel, responsible for managing a team of client service professionals who service over 2,500 advertising clients. Mr. Lyon's group works with customers on improving their advertising ROI by providing online marketing expertise with a relentless focus on exceeding expectations before, during, and after the sale. He is also responsible for recruiting, training, and managing ProfitFuel's client service professionals. David Lyon began his tenure at ProfitFuel in sales and quickly became the top Product Specialist, setting records for monthly revenue generation. Prior to joining ProfitFuel, Mr. Lyon served as an account manager with Dell. He graduated with honors from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas with a B.A. in Communication.

Jacob Tolman, Director of Operations
Mr. Tolman is the Director of Operations for ProfitFuel, responsible for ensuring that ProfitFuel's sales, quality, marketing, and client services departments have the technology, analytics, and reporting required to operate at peak efficiency. Mr. Tolman's group is constantly striving to measure and drive improvements in every facet of ProfitFuel's business. Prior to ProfitFuel, Mr. Tolman worked for Harte-Hanks, a Worldwide Marketing Firm, where he oversaw operations and account management for client partnerships like 3Com and FedEx. Mr. Tolman was also key in providing business analytics, new campaign implementation, and system design consulting for Harte Hank's internal database and the integration of 3Com's Siebel database system across all of North America.

Angela Dunham, Director of Training and Quality
Ms. Dunham is the Director of Training and Quality for ProfitFuel, responsible for the initial training and ongoing development of ProfitFuel's employees. Prior to ProfitFuel, Ms. Dunham worked at MCI for over 10 years, where she lead sales, training, quality, and program implementation teams for the Austin call center. Ms. Dunham was promoted into a national role where she developed and managed all management development programs for MCI's 18 call centers and vendors. Ms. Dunham graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Political Science.
